About
A short history of a quiet, persistent business — built on direct relationships with Lebanon's dental profession.
Our story
DMS was founded in 1997, in a Lebanon still rebuilding after the war. The choice then was the same one we make today: rather than chase volume with hundreds of commodity products, we picked a tight portfolio of European brands that the country's clinicians actually wanted to work with — and built the operation around getting those brands into their hands properly. Forty brands, not four hundred. Registered with the Ministry of Public Health, stocked in our Sin El Fil warehouse, and delivered same-day in Beirut, next-day everywhere else.
Three decades later, that discipline has held under conditions that broke a lot of importers. Through the 2019 banking crisis, the August 2020 Beirut blast, the pandemic supply-chain freeze, the currency collapse — DMS kept clearing customs, kept paying suppliers in hard currency, kept its warehouse stocked, and kept its trucks on the road. When a Lebanese dentist places an order with us, the catalog she sees is the catalog she receives.
That reliability is why 3,500+ Lebanese dentists order through DMS today. Most of them know their sales rep by name. The forty international brands we represent know their regional contact at DMS by name. We are active in every Lebanese faculty of dentistry, in every governorate, in the public hospital system, and in the humanitarian programs running mobile clinics from Akkar to the South — the only distributor in the country with that kind of reach across all four channels.
In 2026 we launched the DMS ordering app: a single login for any Lebanese dentist to browse all forty brands, see live stock and lead times, place orders, and track deliveries. The model has not changed — only the surface area. The same forty brands the clinicians asked for, ordered as easily as anything else they buy online, and behind the screen the same team that has been answering the phone since 1997.

Our values
We carry a brand because clinicians ask for it — not because it's cheap. Every product we stock has a clinical rationale.
Every dentist who calls DMS reaches a human who knows their practice. Every brand we represent has a named point of contact at DMS.
Same-day in Beirut, next-day everywhere else. If we say it will arrive, it arrives.
