About RTD

RTD (Recherches Techniques Dentaires) is a French dental manufacturer founded in 1968 by Dr. Marc Reynaud and headquartered in Saint-Égrève, near Grenoble. RTD was the first company in the world to patent and commercialise the fiber-reinforced composite endodontic post, and remains a worldwide leader in the processing of quartz fibers and the production of FRC posts. The company is ISO 13485-certified, manages every step of manufacturing in-house, and operates as part of the Dentsply Sirona group.

The RTD portfolio is built around the post-and-core restorative workflow: the flagship D.T. Light-Post range (including the color-changing Illusion X-RO), MatchPost and matching drills, plus reinforcement splinting fibers and dedicated luting and core build-up resin-composites.
